Full Job Description

The Director of Enrollment Services develops, manages, and assesses admissions, registration, and student records functions for all credit and non-credit programs to support the College’s enrollment goals and ensure a high-quality student experience. The Director establishes and optimizes processes that promote student access, ensures the accuracy, integrity, and security of student records, and delivers responsive, high-quality services to students, faculty, and staff.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directs the admissions and enrollment services processes for all credit and non-credit programs. Oversees the Enrollment Services Center's front- counter operations, phone, and email communications.

Provides training, guidance, and supervision to promote a high-quality student experience and a positive work environment.

Directs registration and student records processes, including the establishment and communication of registration dates and related processes.

Ensures the security, confidentiality, and integrity of student records in compliance with College, state, federal, and accreditation requirements.

Oversees use of the student information system and related technology, including staff training.

Oversees updates to the student information system to maintain accurate academic program information, course prerequisites, and advisor assignments.

Establishes processes for degree audits, graduation eligibility, and credential issuance.

Leads enhancements and implementation of enrollment-related technologies, acts as a student information system super-user for all related software applications, and collaborates with the Office of Information Technology to improve system functionality and user experience.

Manages academic credit input and transcription, including transfer credit, advanced standing, credit by examination, and course substitutions.

Oversees residency classification and reclassification, enrollment status changes, and refund requests.

Maintains information with third-party vendors related to transfer articulation and serves as the Designated School Official for international student processing, including oversight of admissions criteria.

Keeps staff apprised of related policy and procedure changes.

Manages personnel and resources to support departmental goals.

Communicates expectations clearly, fosters open communication, and supervises enrollment services and student records staff, including Work Study employees and Campus Ambassadors.

Ensures budgets are managed in compliance with policies and procedures.

Provides professional customer service and assists students in resolving concerns. Serves on College committees and participates in statewide peer groups.

Develops and delivers presentations for faculty, staff, and students, and performs other duties as assigned in support of the mission and goals of the Enrollment Services Center and the College.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and experience in student services programs.

Qualifications

Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in enrollment services, admissions, registration, student records, or related higher education functions preferred.
