This job is about leading the financial and administrative side of a state department focused on drug, alcohol, and gambling issues in Pennsylvania.
You'll manage budgets, grants, contracts, and ensure everything follows rules to support programs that help people with substance use and gambling problems.

In this role, you will oversee the Bureau of Administration, directing fiscal management, procurement, contracting, and administrative operations.
Work involves advising executive leadership on financial and administrative matters, including managing budgets, grants, and contracts, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
This position requires strong leadership and critical thinking to ensure effective statewide substance use and gambling disorder services.
You will also be responsible for overseeing the development, execution, and monitoring of state and federal budgets, as well as directing all contracting and funding distribution to grantees and operational partners.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
