This job involves supervising entry-level and mid-level staff who support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential care facility, ensuring their daily care, safety, and required documentation are handled properly.

Under limited supervision of the Direct Support Manager this position is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the Direct Support Professional I and II's.
Ensures Active Treatment for consumers in assigned buildings is implemented by staff. This entails monitorship programs developed by the Interdisciplinary (ID) Team.
Monitors completion of behavior data sheets, ISP training programs, and GER (General Event Reports) to ensure all required documentation is entered into THERAP. Monitors Day Programs monthly (i.e.
on/off campus).
Sign-on bonus for eligible candidates paid after 3, 6, 9, and 12 months of successful continuous employment.

State Disaster Plan: In accordance with the State's Disaster Plan, which includes hazardous weather, employees of The South Carolina Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, Office of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities may be required to work in times of an emergency or disaster.
