About the Position: Serves as the Deputy G-3/5/7 for the Maneuver Support Center of Excellence (MSCoE) and Fort Leonard Wood (FLW).

Leads efforts in planning, developing, and coordinating operations and training for all units and activities assigned, attached, or tenant at Fort Leonard Wood.

Current Civilian Employees of the Command Domestic Defense Industrial Base/Major Range and Test Facilities Base Civilian Personnel Workforce In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described below.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes (1) Represents the organization on matters related to operations and training; (2) Provides guidance on short- and long-range plans, resolved personnel issues, and making decisions on complex work problems; (3) Serves as a senior advisor on program management, personnel, operations, security, budgeting, administration, and systems management.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14).

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Workforce Development Human Capital Management Decision Making Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-14).
