Full Job Description

You will serve as a DEPUTY ASSISTANT CHIEF OF STAFF, G4 in the G4 Directorate of MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CTR.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing a portfolio that may include executive level supply chain management, logistics, facilities, and public works; serving as a senior advisor to leadership on policy development, resource allocation, workforce planning, organizational performance and resolving high-impact operational issues AND driving organizational/fiscal efficiency through strategic planning, position management, full lifecycle budget formulation and execution.

  • You will be responsible for installation functions aboard Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC) required to support training, as well as the Marines, Sailors, and their families stationed at MCAOCC.
  • You will supervise and direct the preparation of G4's Program Objective Memorandum (POM) and provides oversite of G4's Base Operating Support (BOS) and Facility Sustainment, Restoration and Maintenance (FSRM) budgets.
  • You will monitor the implementation of installation level policies and guidance, and make recommendations to adapt guidance for changing conditions.
  • You will evaluate and identify potential problems and/or weaknesses and ensure corrective actions are taken to ensure mission accomplishment.
  • You will articulate issues and concerns related to facility requirements and management; housing programs; nodes of logistics support including fuel, ammunition, food service, retail supply, transportation management; and environmental programs.
  • You will present, brief and discuss a range of subjects such as changes in support services provided, including facilities requirements, logistics, personnel management, and environmental matters to upper management.
  • You will serve as a resource advisor to all staff echelons and provide continuity and stability for all organization administrative functions in planning, directing, coordinating, and evaluating business lines.
  • You will provide guidance and long-term perspectives in preparing MCAGCC's annual Military Construction (MILCON) submission.
  • You will provide expertise, advice and provide written recommendations on resource management, position management, civilian and military personnel management, contracting actions and staff coordination.
