This role supports the Director of Strategic Initiatives at the Michigan Department of Civil Rights by helping plan and run events, conferences, and projects that educate people about civil rights laws and encourage compliance.
It also involves coordinating fundraising, acting as a liaison with partner organizations, and analyzing event data to make improvements.
A good fit would be someone organized and detail-oriented with experience in event planning and administrative support, who is passionate about civil rights and public outreach.
