This professional position is responsible for administering the Michigan Indian Tuition Waiver within the Student Aid and Access division of the Office of Higher Education. This position coordinates with students, high schools, and postsecondary institutions to administer program policies and procedures, including eligibility requirements, application processes, and awards using both internal processes and external communications and partnerships. The position also contributes to annual and ad hoc reporting. In addition, this role supports business operations by reviewing, developing, and coordinating accessible forms and materials; ensuring compliance with accessibility standards; and making recommendations for improvements to information technology system documentation (MiSSG), outreach methods, and communication materials to promote equitable access for all users.

Requirements

This position generally requires the education acquired through the possession of a bachelor's degree in any major. Specific information on the education and experience required for different class levels is in the job specification for the Departmental Analyst class.
