Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves acting as a regional project manager for public transportation providers in northern Michigan, offering hands-on support to transit agencies with funding applications, contract management, and required reports.
It also includes monitoring contracts for capital and operating expenses to ensure they follow state and federal rules.
A good fit would be someone with a bachelor's degree and experience in project coordination or public administration who enjoys fieldwork and helping local organizations navigate regulations.

This position functions as regional project manager in an assigned geographic area for providers of public transportation.
Provide direct, on-site assistance to transit agencies with respect to applications, contract administration, and reporting.
Provide oversight of capital and operating contracts, including compliance with state and federal regulations.
The "Salary" listed above is a range that reflects the minimum rate at the entry (9) level through the maximum rate at the advanced (12) level. Based on education and experience, candidates will be reviewed to determine what level they are qualified for.
