Our Database Administrator II serves within the IT Enterprise Applications office in Columbia.
This role is directly responsible for administering the support of database products related to the agency's SQL Server database management systems, and the SCUBI Oracle RAAS Databases and their supporting environments.
Responsibilities include version updating, service pack installations, data integrity, security, recovery, and performance issues relating to the database systems.
An ideal candidate will possess expertise in database management systems, concepts, design methodologies, database structures, operating systems, data security, integrity, monitoring, auditing activities, and the ability to present technical and non-technical reports effectively, fostering positive relationships with technical staff and customers.

A bachelor's degree in information technology systems, database administration, or a related field, and experience in information technology systems or a related area. Relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.
