This job involves leading the creation of data processing systems and tools for the Defense Information Systems Agency to support U.S.
Cyber Command's mission, focusing on handling large amounts of data securely and efficiently.
You'll design strategies for data management, build pipelines to automate processes, and analyze data sources to cut down on manual work.

This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service.
It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA - DBC/SERVICES DEVELOPMENT DIRECTORATE.
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.
Basic Requirements: Degree: Mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science or field directly related to the position.
The degree must be in a major field of study (at least at the baccalaureate level) that is appropriate for the position.
or Combination of education and experience: Courses equivalent to a major field of study (30 semester hours) as shown in paragraph A above, plus additional education or appropriate experience.
Qualifying Experience: To qualify at the GG-14, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position.
Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience designing and delivering frameworks to facilitate the data development life-cycle; OR data modeling, query authoring and performance tuning; OR applying data management concepts to software development life-cycle.
