Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team!

MCCS is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community.

We offer a team oriented environment comprised of military personnel, civilian employees, contractors and volunteers who keep the organization functioning smoothly and effectively.

What are we looking for? Ability to move around well enough to work safely while moving lightweight objects. Ability to use common cleaning tools and lightweight vacuum cleaners.

Uses required safety equipment and observes safe work procedures.

Exerts light physical effort in doing such tasks as using vacuum cleaners and dry mops; running lightweight powered scrubbers and buffers; continually standing, bending, stooping, and reaching; frequently lifting and emptying wastebaskets; frequently pushing carts and occasionally lifting and carrying.

Knowledge and skill sufficient to read signs follow simple oral and written instructions. Major Duties:

What to Expect Cleans offices, stores rooms, corridors, stairways, and other areas.

Sweeps, dry mops, waxes, and polishes floors, using brooms, mops, lightweight vacuum cleaners, and lightweight floor scrubbers and buffers.

Maintains a stock of cleaning materials and equipment and notifies supervisor when more are needed. Lifts and carries objects up to 45 lbs independently and objects over 45 lbs with assistance.

Work is performed indoors, in areas, which normally have adequate heat, light, and ventilation. Performs other related duties as assigned.
