Job Description
Summary
This job is for a custodial worker at a U.S.
Army base in Italy, where you'll handle everyday cleaning tasks like sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to keep the facility neat and welcoming.

This position is located at USAG Italy - MWR, Ederle Inn. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Resumes must be two pages (or less).

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Ability to communicate both orally and in writing Knowledge on appropriate use of a variety of special cleaning and sanitizing solutions to keep assigned work area neat and clean.
Ability to follow instructions and read signs. Skills in removing stains from a wide variety of surfaces.
Have basic knowledge of cleaning solvents, and cleaning tools/equipment in order to remove different kinds of stains from a wide variety of surfaces.
Ability to troubleshoot, make adjustments, and perform minor repair and maintenance of equipment. Claimed experience must be verifiable through your resume. Assumptions will not be made. Major Duties:
- Cleans rooms, corridors, stairways, and other areas. Sweeps, mops, vacuums, scrubs, strips and polishes using light and heavy duty powered equipment.
- Operates industrial equipment to clean rugs, drapes, etc. Performs routine maintenance of equipment.
- Cleans, disinfects and deodorizes toilet facilities. Cleans, and dusts assigned areas. Empties trash. May make beds and changes linen.
- Washes walls, windows, blinds and ceiling fixtures using ladders, scaffolds and safety belt. Moves heavy furniture.
- Maintains stock of room and cleaning supplies to perform assigned duties.
