The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs is seeking a dedicated part-time Custodial Worker to join our maintenance team at the Hollidaysburg Veterans' Home.

As a Custodial Worker 1, you will be performing routine manual tasks to maintain cleanliness in public institutional buildings and surrounding areas.
This role requires the use of professional-grade cleaning supplies as well as modern cleaning equipment and may involve such laborious tasks as moving or lifting heavy furniture.
Work involves following a consistent schedule and is subject to inspection to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met.
You will also be responsible for assisting with snow removal, maintaining a safe working environment, and reporting any problems or unsafe conditions to your supervisor.
