  • Full-time availability for 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM shifts, including rotating days and weekends, with no telework option

Requirements

As a Custodial Worker 1, your main responsibility will be to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the facility. Your duties will involve tasks such as mopping, scrubbing, waxing, polishing, dusting, and sweeping various items, including walls, floors, elevators, light fixtures, and wheelchairs. Additionally, you will be expected to use custodial supplies and modern cleaning equipment, as well as move and lift heavy furniture. Your duties will also include emptying waste containers, disposing of recyclable materials, and properly storing infectious waste. These tasks are crucial in creating a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment (7.5 hours per day; 37.5 hours per week)
  • Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, rotating days and weekends, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

  • A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
  • This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
