Requirements

In this position, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and healthy work environment by cleaning offices, classrooms, dormitory areas, hallways, and stairways.

Responsibilities include mopping, dusting, emptying trash receptacles, ensuring lighting fixtures are operational, moving furniture, and unloading supplies.

Additionally, you will ensure cleanliness standards are met by verifying that cadets properly complete assigned custodial duties as part of their training program.

You will also clean restrooms, locker rooms, and shower areas, maintain adequate restroom supplies, and operate and maintain cleaning equipment and machinery associated with custodial tasks.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
  • Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Saturday - Sunday, with a 30-minute lunch. During the first weekend of cadet class arrivals, you will work a flexible schedule without designated core hours.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $35,306.00 (before taxes).
