Requirements

In this Custodial Worker 1 position, you will complete essential work including:

  • Sweeping and mopping restroom floors, and washing and cleaning mirrors, toilets, walls, sinks, and other restroom fixtures.
  • Checking that supplies like paper towels and toilet paper are available in each restroom and adding more supplies as needed.
  • Telling your supervisor when there are burnt-out or blinking light bulbs, plumbing leaks, clogged drains, and other problems or big messes that need extra help to fix.
  • Cleaning, dusting, and polishing windows, furniture, and other things in offices.
  • Using pallet jacks and dollies to move furniture and materials.
  • Using a commercial heavy-duty scrub machine (buffer) to clean and buff floors.
  • Removing snow and ice from building entrances, exits, sidewalks, driveways, and stairways with our team as needed.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • Essential employee – required to report to work during emergencies and office closings.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
