This part-time role involves supporting people in a behavioral health program by helping them set goals, create treatment plans, and learn about recovery resources during their short stays.
You'll work closely with clients and mental health staff to assist with daily living activities and promote personal development.
It's ideal for compassionate individuals with a high school education who enjoy community service and have some experience in helping others, especially in mental health or social support settings.

In this part-time County Social Services Aide 1 position, you will serve as a Decision Support Center Peer Specialist, teaching and assisting consumers in developing and writing goals.
Collaboration is key as you will work with consumers to develop a treatment plan for their psychiatry appointment, work with other mental health staff, and complete other tasks to facilitate each consumer’s goal attainment as it aligns with their plan.
Helping consumers learn about and access recovery resources related to their individual service plan and assisting consumers and their families with activities of daily living are other important ways you will contribute to each person’s healing and development process.
