Columbia, Montour, Snyder, and Union (CMSU) Behavioral Health and Developmental Services is seeking compassionate County Social Services Aides to join our dynamic team. This part-time position gives you the opportunity to support consumers throughout their short-term stay in our program. Turn your compassion into action and help your community thrive!

Requirements

In this part-time County Social Services Aide 1 position, you will serve as a Decision Support Center Peer Specialist, teaching and assisting consumers in developing and writing goals.

Collaboration is key as you will work with consumers to develop a treatment plan for their psychiatry appointment, work with other mental health staff, and complete other tasks to facilitate each consumer’s goal attainment as it aligns with their plan.

Helping consumers learn about and access recovery resources related to their individual service plan and assisting consumers and their families with activities of daily living are other important ways you will contribute to each person’s healing and development process.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Graduation from high school; or
  • Any equivalent combination of training and experience.


Other Requirements:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
