Job Duties:

  • The County Admin Support Specialist II performs administrative and secretarial duties in support of agency management: provide routine and specialized administrative support.

  • Monitors the AWS Call Center Agents to ensure all call agents are signed on to the system and receiving in-bound calls to assist SNAP and TANF clients. Provide management with daily attendance roster for the AWS System.

  • Presents positive image which supports agency actions and mission at all times; provides professional customer service to clients served by the agency.

  • Receives professional and personal calls: screen and refer the phone call to the appropriate party.

  • Provides clients with general information of the programs and refer them to the appropriate staff member to assist them in a more in depth manner.

  • Maintains accurate files for all essential documents and reports.

  • Employ the ability to write professional emails and other correspondences.

  • Performs emergency disaster management services to include American Red Cross sheltering and Disaster Snap duties; performs other related duties as required.


Requirements

A High School Diploma and two (2) years clerical experience.

An Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree may be substituted for all or part of the work requirements.
