Base salary range: $88,520 - $115,079

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves supporting high-level counterintelligence operations in the Navy by gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing sensitive information to help prevent threats and guide investigations.
It requires working closely with teams and external agencies to create plans and share insights that protect naval assets.
A good fit would be someone with experience in intelligence analysis, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle complex, confidential data under pressure.
You will serve as a in the COUNTERINTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SUPPORT OFFICER of NAVAL CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIVE SERVICE (NCIS).

GS-13: Must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that includes: Applying counterintelligence concepts and principles to support operations of a complex and sensitive nature; Coordinating operational activities and sharing information with other government or law enforcement agencies; Conducting complex studies of operational processes and recommending solutions; and Communicating complex and sensitive information to a variety of audiences.
GS-12: Must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that includes: Assisting in the application of counterintelligence concepts to support operations; Helping to coordinate operational activities with other agencies; Assisting in conducting studies of operational processes; and preparing written and oral reports to support mission activities.
