This job involves leading inmate work crews to handle maintenance, repairs, construction, and upkeep of a large prison facility, ensuring everything stays safe and functional for inmates, staff, and visitors.
You'll plan schedules, teach skills, inspect work, and manage tools and materials while maintaining security.

As a Corrections Maintenance Foreman, you will oversee inmate work crews in maintenance, repair, construction, groundskeeping, and janitorial tasks.
You will plan inmate schedules, provide instruction in the proper operation of machinery and vehicles, and inspect completed work.
You will also assist other trades staff in carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, refrigeration, masonry, and welding.
This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to ensure adherence to performance standards.
In addition, you will inventory materials and tools used to complete work assignments, submit purchase requests, and exercise care, custody, and control over inmates at all times.
