Base salary range: $88,520 - $115,079
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-12. Expert-level knowledge in field.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves managing and negotiating contracts for the Navy's TRIDENT II missile program, handling everything from planning and bidding to final execution and oversight.
It requires working independently on complex procurement tasks while advising leaders on technical and legal aspects of deals.

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector..
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a Contract Specialist reviewing and applying procurement policies and contracting laws, regulations, procedures methods and contract types applicable to pre-award and post-award contract actions; and providing technical advice and guidance in the area of contracting/procurement to staff and leadership.
