  • The City of Cape Coral Internship Program is designed to provide an opportunity for select students to gain hands-on experience, strengthen their knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • This program is specifically structured to focus on the professional development of the intern and to better prepare them for future employment opportunities and a successful transition into the related field.
  • This individual will assist with various projects and tasks, assist in the identification of issues/problems, researches and gathers data, analyzes alternatives, and implements plans.
  • Communicates with professionals, City staff, and the public.
  • Has general knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and related equipment or electronic devices.
  • Requires the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide; calculate decimals and percentages.
  • Requires written and oral communications for effective expression of concepts.
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationship with supervisor, support staff and other personnel.
  • Organizes and reviews work for efficient results and accuracy.
  • Attends meetings as required.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications
