Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900
Typical requirements: Executive-level leadership experience. Senior executive qualifications required.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of continuing education programs at a technical college, such as scheduling classes, handling registrations, tracking data, and supporting partnerships with employers and students.
It requires coordinating events, ensuring smooth program delivery, and providing helpful service to everyone involved.
A good fit would be someone organized and detail-oriented with experience in administrative or educational support roles, who enjoys multitasking and working with people.
Coordinates operational functions for the Continuing Education (CE) department, including course scheduling, registration systems administration, data reporting, employer partnership support, and program logistics.
Ensures efficient program delivery, accurate record management, and quality service to students, instructors, and workforce partners.
Coordinates planning, scheduling, and logistical support for CE courses and workforce training programs.
Administers and maintains registration systems, including course setup, pricing, and enrollment monitoring. Collects, maintains, and analyzes program data; prepares operational and compliance reports.
Supports employer engagement efforts and customized training initiatives. Coordinates marketing collaboration, student communications, and CE events, including graduations and recognition activities.
Provides customer service and operational support to students, instructors, and external partners.
A high school diploma and relevant experience in business management, public administration or administrative services. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for required work experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Education, Public Administration, or related field and two (2) years of experience in program coordination, workforce development, continuing education, or related administrative operations; or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Experience with registration and reporting systems.
Experience in workforce development or a higher education environment.
Knowledge of program coordination and data reporting processes.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Ability to analyze data and prepare reports.
Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems.
Overnight travel may be expected occasionally. Position requires frequent sitting and occasional walking, standing, reaching, bending, squatting, twisting, and lifting.
