The Construction Project Manager 2 will work in a hybrid environment appropriate to ongoing activities and duties, including in the field, office, or remote. A telework agreement will be developed upon start to outline specifics.

This role works with the entire Facilities Management Department to plan and execute projects.
This position resides within the Construction Division and is supported with resources, construction trend information, standardizations, processes, tools, and training.
The CPM2 will execute small building (maintenance) projects for the Maintenance and Operations Division.
This work includes coordination with building tenants, architects, contractors, and staff, following processes and procedures for procurement, and assisting Maintenance Division staff with facilities assessments, cost estimates, development of bid documents and through the successful execution and closeout of projects.
The CPM2 will perform duties such as creating drawings for bidding and permitting, draft specifications, conduct management and project oversight, including regular site inspections, and manage contract documents, including drafting change orders and amendments.
The CPM 2 will work with fiscal staff and management in the approval of invoices, tracking project costs, and closeout of projects, including receipt and delivery of O&M Manuals and updating as-built records.
The project manager will maintain project records in electronic file systems and the maintenance work order system as appropriate.

The Construction Division meets regularly as a team and also meets with Maintenance Supervisors as a team.
Construction Project Managers meet regularly with each other and one-on-one with employees, sharing information and responding to questions and concerns.

The Maintenance and Operations Division manages daily operations such as building cleaning, grounds maintenance and a highly responsive and capable staff of building maintenance professionals performing repairs and monitoring building systems; manages preventative maintenance programs for major equipment and building components of facilities; performs renovations and equipment replacements which result in increased safety, security, efficiency and improved productivity for our tenants; provides assistance and consulting services to building tenants for electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, remodeling and other tasks; ensures buildings meet safety, fire and accessibility code requirements.
