Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves working as a computer scientist to analyze data from tests of Navy undersea systems, like submarines and torpedoes, and to build and improve software tools that help evaluate how well these systems perform.
You'll handle secure data, create reports, and work with teams to ensure the tools are reliable and up-to-date.

You will serve as a Computer Scientist in the Systems Assessment Branch (Code 22300) of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport.
TO QUALIFY FOR GS-12: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: As a professional computer scientist analyzing test and evaluation assessment data for the development of an undersea warfare system or related assessment tools.
