Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.

Such experience is typically in or directly relates to the work of the position to be filled.

Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by: Conducting thorough analysis of programs to be inspected and developing inspection standards.

Identifying areas that may require the input or direct participation of functional subject matter experts during the planning stages and/or actual conduct of inspections.

This position is within the Work Category PROFESSIONAL at Work Level SENIOR, Series and Grade GG-1801-13.

• You will conduct functional area inspections and make appropriate evaluations and recommendations concerning the command.
• You will create inspection plans and schedules using organizationally supported methodologies while supporting program requirements.
• You will prepare inspection reports and develop briefings or executive summaries for presentation.
• You will refer recommendations, findings, and discrepancies to the appropriate management level and directorate for subsequent coordination and resolution.
• You will personally conduct inquiries or fact-finding (explorative investigations) into cases, often involving special circumstances.
