Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Advising leaders on strategic initiatives, communications goals, and objectives; 2) Assisting commanders and staff directors in developing strategies that support the goals and objectives of the Command; 3) Analyzing conflicting data to summarize recommendations or program changes; 4) Maintaining liaison with public relations personnel of the other organizations; AND 5) Developing speeches, briefings, memorandums, pamphlets, booklets.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
