About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the Rocker Enlisted Club on Kadena Air Base in Okinawa, Japan.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience: Must have experience or training which demonstrates ability to take responsibility for club operations in the absence of managerial staff.

Experience must include duties such as providing work direction to employees, providing quality customer service, interpreting, applying and enforcing rules, policies and procedures.

Must also have experience or training which reflects evidence of trustworthiness, ability to make sound decisions, ability to confront others in a professional manner and good oral and written communication skills.

Must be able to obtain a food handler's Certificate and/or complete food handler's training.

Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) as a condition of employment. Major Duties:

Monitors operations of a club or assigned area, normally during absence of the manager and assistant manager, and normally at night or on weekends.

Reviews the schedule of functions that are to take place during the assigned shift and ensures they are carried out as planned by management.

Provides instruction and guidance to all club staff members on functions taking place during the shift.

Ensures that only authorized personnel use the facility and that club rules, regulations and established procedures are followed. Maintains order in the facility.

Assures patron satisfaction by resolving complaints and other customer problems. Responds to emergencies.

Ensures adherence with Dram Shop, security, safety, sanitation, cash handling and property control procedures. Inspects and secures facility at the end of the shift.

Prepares a report of all significant occurrences during the shift. Performs other duties as assigned. Position is a position of trust. Subject to uncommon tour of duty.
