Requirements

In this role, you will provide essential clerical and secretarial support to CMSU administration and case managers. Professionalism, discretion, and strong communication skills are key as this position includes frequent interaction with clients, staff, and the public.


Duties and responsibilities are performed both independently and collaboratively with other clerical staff to ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information and maintain a safe, orderly, and efficient work environment in our administrative office. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Typing correspondence, forms, and documents from drafts, notes, or oral instructions.
  • Compiling, posting, verifying, and maintaining data and records in physical and digital files.
  • Receiving, sorting, opening, distributing, and routing incoming and outgoing mail, packages, faxes, and documentation.
  • Sharing responsibility for front desk receptionist and telephone coverage.
  • Providing information regarding services, procedures, and general office operations.
  • Assisting with unpacking, stocking, inventorying, and ordering office supplies.
  • Operating and troubleshooting general office equipment used to complete your work.


Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Six months as a Clerk Typist 1 and educational development to the level of eighth grade; or
  • Completion of a high school business curriculum which included at least one typing course; or
  • Any combination of equivalent experience and training.


Other Requirements:
