The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs is seeking an independent and responsible Clerical Assistant 3 to join our staff in the Commandant’s Office at Gino J. Merli Veterans’ Center.

In this position, you will provide confidential administrative and clerical support to the Commandant of the Gino J. Merli Veterans Center.
Your work will involve managing the Commandant’s schedules, prioritizing work assignments, making travel arrangements, and creating reimbursement requests.
You will coordinate meetings, inventory supplies and office equipment, and maintain reference materials.
Some of your duties will also include monitoring incoming and outgoing correspondence, responding to written and verbal inquiries, and submitting paperwork for permits and licensures.
Additionally, you will develop and submit articles for the center’s newsletter and provide administrative support to staff in the center.
