Requirements
The Clerical Assistant 2 in this position will be responsible for a wide range of moderately complex clerical duties within the Division of Licensing and Registration. The primary responsibility will be to audit, review, and process boat registration and boat title application forms and related ownership documents. Reviews forms for content, completeness, accuracy, and to ensure that the appropriate taxes and fees are calculated and remitted. Identifies, investigates, and resolves moderately complex registration and titling discrepancies, and identifies and assists with the release of registration and titling suspends. Provides data entry services for a wide range of boat registration and boat title application transactions, as well as serves as a support person for customer questions regarding their boat registration and titling issues.

- Work hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday-Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting hourly rate of $18.46 (before taxes).

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):- Previous experience processing boat registrations.
- Previous computer experience in registration and titling programs.
