The Bureau of Motor Vehicles is hiring a Clerical Assistant 2 to process reissuance of plates by stuffing plates and registration cards for mailing and to reconcile computer generated output and reports using mathematical calculations certification methods.

Requirements
The Clerical Assistant 2 receives and breaks down computer generated output into correct sources according to transaction code indicators and verifies all output for any errors.
Other duties include: - Retrieves processes and maintains records of all plates that are assigned out to certain units.
- Maintains an inventory of plates, and decals, and other related correspondence, needed to perform daily duties.
- Processes unclaimed mail on the computer.
- Hand stuffs license plates, registration cards for mailing.
- Clean and file plates in order in drawers. Pull reports from RMDS for internet and DP500.
- Mail all dealer card, plates and Summary letters.
- Place orders in. Centric for plates.
- Assist with the processing of form orders received by phone, mail, fax or interaction with internal and external customers.

- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,108 (before taxes).

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
