The Pennsylvania Game Commission is currently searching for a Clerical Assistant 2 for a position in the Licensing Division in Harrisburg, PA. This position serves as a contact person and trouble-shooter for any questions or problems relating to the Pennsylvania Automated License System (PALS).

Requirements

In this position you will answer incoming telephone calls to assist and provide information to the public, issuing agents, county treasurers and field personnel with questions regarding license sales, account activities, financial reporting through PALS, and any other issues that may arise. Helps identify and resolve questions arising from issuing agents concerning their weekly EFT/ACH or other accounting procedures. This position will file landowner affidavits and other information relating to county treasurers operations in their appropriate file, as well as assist with preparing statistical and informational reports for agency staff as needed.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 7:45 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 45-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time.

    Telework is not permitted during the initial six-month probationary period; eligibility may be granted upon its successful completion.

    In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.

    If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg, PA. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

  • Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,108 (before taxes).

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Graduation from high school; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
