Summary

This job is for a clerical assistant in the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation's Bucks County office, where you'll handle everyday office tasks to support the maintenance team's managers in meeting their goals and following procedures.

It's a full-time, in-office role with a standard daytime schedule, ideal for someone organized, good with people, and eager to work as part of a team in a government setting.

Requirements

In this position, you will perform clerical activities to assist the Bucks County Maintenance Office (MO) management staff in ensuring that all aspects, policies and procedures, and goals and objectives are met.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment.
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
    • Work hours subject to change based on seasonal requirements and operational needs.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,108 (before taxes).

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Graduation from high school; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
