The Bureau of Driver Licensing is hiring a Clerical Assistant 2 to research and provide various driver information products for the general public, department personnel, employers, insurance companies/agencies, law enforcement agencies, legislators, courts, attorneys, messengers, wholesale providers and other state/federal agencies.

Requirements
The Clerical Assistant 2 in this position will be responsible for reviewing application and payment method prior to processing request and rejecting documents to customer for insufficient fees or more information needed to ensure that customer receives accurate information/product. This position uses a PC for the data entry process, selecting the requested driving record, producing a letter of clearance, providing micro-film copies, utilizing ECS, scanning and attestations. This position also verifies and mails completed information to customers to ensure that each customer receives the appropriate record.

position description.Work Schedule and Additional Information:- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 1-hour lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,108 (before taxes).

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
