Summary

Requirements

Within this role, you will review and process applications submitted to the bureau for 6 program areas.

Attention to detail is essential as you process invoice payments, research the bureaus database and verify the correct accounts with the payment stubs received from Central Collections.

Communication is key as you respond to customer inquiries received via phone calls and emails providing guidance to the public and information related to their licenses with our division.

Our team will rely on you to support and assist other staff as needed in all 6 program areas of the bureau.

You will have the opportunity to assist the general public, as well as inspectors, in resolving invoice problems, address changes, certificate requests, and scheduling inspections.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time.

    In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.

    If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year as a Clerical Assistant (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
