This job involves reviewing and processing applications for workplace safety certifications, handling payments and database research, and assisting the public and staff with inquiries and issues in a government safety bureau.
It's a supportive role in a team-focused environment that helps ensure safe working conditions across Pennsylvania.
A good fit would be someone organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable communicating with people over phone and email.

Within this role, you will review and process applications submitted to the bureau for 6 program areas.
Attention to detail is essential as you process invoice payments, research the bureaus database and verify the correct accounts with the payment stubs received from Central Collections.
Communication is key as you respond to customer inquiries received via phone calls and emails providing guidance to the public and information related to their licenses with our division.
Our team will rely on you to support and assist other staff as needed in all 6 program areas of the bureau.
You will have the opportunity to assist the general public, as well as inspectors, in resolving invoice problems, address changes, certificate requests, and scheduling inspections.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
