Requirements

In this position, you will be responsible for delivering visitor services, performing receptionist duties, and providing clerical assistance to support the operations of Moraine State Park Complex. As a receptionist at both the Park Office and, on occasion, the Marina Office, your role will involve offering information about the park, addressing visitor questions, and giving directions. Key responsibilities include utilizing the park's revenue and reservation software for processing transactions such as boat launching permits and cabin bookings, collecting fees, and ensuring precise cash management at the conclusion of each shift. Additionally, proficiency in operating various office equipment, including computers, scanners, and fax machines, is essential for this role.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • This is a seasonal, full-time position with no healthcare benefits. The season runs from approximately May 2026, through October 2026, at which time the employee will be placed on leave without pay. The employee will automatically be returned to employment approximately May 2027.
  • This position requires availability seven days a week, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, to support park operations and address seasonal demands.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position
