In this role, you will serve as the Section Chief of the Design Section within the Division of Project Development & Design, Bureau of Abandoned Mine Reclamation (BAMR).
You will lead a team of engineers and draftspersons in designing and drafting abandoned mine land (AML) reclamation projects that support the effective implementation of Pennsylvania’s AML Program and address mine-water impacts across the Commonwealth.
As an Environmental Group Manager and licensed Professional Engineer (PE), you will also review engineering work products and assume responsible charge for all professional engineering activities performed under your supervision, in accordance with Act 367 and established standards of practice.
Key responsibilities include:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
