Three years of experience that demonstrates knowledge of standardized mess/club or comparable food service and beverage practices, procedures, and pricing. 2.
An ability to coordinate with various workstations to satisfy customer catering and party requirements. 3. Skills to assist customers in planning delivery of services. 4. Ability to supervise. 5.
Ability to prepare reports and complete simple contractual arrangements. 6. Proficient knowledge of cash handling procedures and sales operation in club or related environment. 7.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software and applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. 8. Ability to prepare contractual agreements. Knowledge of Caterease Software desired.
9. Ability to supervise and provide work directions to subordinate employees and resolve problems or disputes within the activity. 10.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with customers, using proper tact, diplomacy and professional customer service. 11.
Must be able to accommodate flexible work schedule to include weekends, holidays, and nighttime. 12.
Must be able to perform prolonged standing, walking, reaching, lifting, and carrying objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance. This activity is a Drug-free workplace.

Plans special catering events such as command functions, cultural events, balls, air shows etc.
Meets with clients and discusses requirements such as date, number of guests, occasion, and explains services offered, i.e., room, decorations, menu, entertainment, etc.
Make recommendations, if needed. Costs functions, prepares contracts, signs and obtains clients signature and deposits, if required. Coordinates food and beverage needs with appropriate club personnel.
Arranges required supplies, decorations, equipment, and personnel. Maintains private party book and/or contract file. Follows-up with client evaluation of services rendered.
Promotes catering program marketing plan. May prepare private party brochures and advertising material. Assists with establishing catering prices. Supervises catering event personnel.
Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Takes action to solve problems quickly.
Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulations and standards.
Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor.
Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment. Performs other related duties as assigned.
