Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900

The Opportunity
WSDOT is seeking to fill several non-permanent internship positions within the Headquarters (HQ) Maintenance & Operations Division.
The Capital Facilities Interns will support the mission of HQ Capital Facilities by assisting in planning efforts that advance resilient, functional, and engaging facilities.
In a training capacity and under close supervision, these roles will contribute to transportation studies and facility planning for HQ Capital Facilities and Safety Rest Areas by collecting, classifying, and summarizing data, and supporting collaborative planning processes.
These positions play a key role in ensuring WSDOT facilities reflect the agency’s vision by promoting safe, inclusive, and operationally effective environments for both the traveling public and staff.
Our top candidates will bring strengths in GIS or field data collection, will demonstrate analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to learn and apply planning principles in a structured environment.
