Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).

About the Position: This position is located in the Department of Budget Services at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
Performs duties relative to budget analysis, formulation, justification, presentation, and/or execution of budget in Budget at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: independently interpreting budget/financial regulations; formulating and executing budget submissions; recommending and implementing changes; analyzing budget/funding data to ensure proper execution of resources; preparing budget reports for presentation and justification to senior leadership; collaborating with various departments/staff in the preparation and finalization of budget formulation; and utilizing automated financial or budget systems to input and extract data for various reports.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-11.
