Full Job Description

Teaching courses and laboratory components in biology and/or chemistry, participate in curriculum and instruction material development, assessment functions, student advisement responsibilities, registration, recruitment and retention activities, college outreach activities and college committees. Participate in departmental, division, and college planning sessions in actively reaching and communicating the college’s mission and goals; and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Faculty teaching associate degree courses designed for transfer to the baccalaureate degree: doctorate or master’s degree in either biological sciences, chemistry or a master’s degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).
