Job Description

Summary

This job is for a bartender at a bowling center on a military base in Georgia, where you'll mix and serve drinks, handle customer payments, and keep the bar area clean and organized.

It's a hands-on role in a busy, social environment focused on supporting military families.

A good fit would be someone with prior bartending experience who is reliable, good with people, and comfortable in a fast-paced setting.

Full Job Description

This position is located at Mall Bowling which is a part of Fort Benning Family & Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR). Incentives and Bonuses Incentives and bonuses will not be paid.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic at the time of appointment. Be able to lift and carry weights up to 20 pounds.

Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory. Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. Major Duties:

  • Sets up bars for operation, obtains cash bank and stocks service bar. Assures an adequate stock level is maintained, sets up storeroom and work area to permit easy access to stock items.
  • Prepares a limited variety of simple alcoholic beverages as requested by patrons and wait staff. Records sales and makes change or prepares charge slips.
  • Keeps bar and work area clean and sanitary. Identifies persons who become unruly or who appear intoxicated, resolves the problem or seeks assistance in accordance with established procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
