This seasonal position prepares and tests election equipment, reviews incoming paperwork from polling locations for accuracy, monitors live updates during voting hours, and provides technical support over the phone.
Must have strong customer service skills and organization.Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. repeatedly.
Familiarity with Android and iOS devices, Microsoft Office software, and a valid Texas Driver's License are preferred, but not required.
Training on elections procedures, operation of the electronic voting equipment, election law, and troubleshooting techniques will be provided.
Workers are expected to accurately complete paperwork, present oneself in a professional manner, and dress appropriately for the work environment such as wearing closed-toed shoes.
Must be available to work variable schedules, including evenings and weekends. Must pass a criminal background check. The pay is $20.00 per hour.
