This job involves working as an automotive technician at a military logistics site in Pennsylvania, where you'll diagnose issues in vehicles using computer tools, decide on repairs or replacements for parts, and install them to meet manufacturer standards.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Be able to lift and carry weights up to 40 pounds (occasionally, move object over 50 pounds with assistance or with mechanical devices). Possess a.
valid motor vehicle operators permit. Have work experience performing the identified duties. Be able to work independently.
Skill and Knowledge: Knowledge of the various techniques for removing, replacing, cleaning and installing parts and components.
Skill to make adjustments and settings and in the operation of tools and equipment used.
Understanding of diagnostic and test equipment; the make-up and operation of systems and their interrelationship.
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Possess a Pennsylvania state inspection and emissions license.
