Job Description

Summary

This entry-level auditor position in the Department of the Navy involves supporting audits of financial and operational processes, verifying data accuracy, and helping management improve controls under supervision.

Key Requirements

  • You will with supervision, assists in development of audit steps, approaches, and test for assisted areas of audits or programs, activities, procedures, and operations.
  • You will provide information to management officials responsible for audited programs regarding management controls and procedures.
  • You will participate in discussing finding and recommendations with management to ensure full consideration of audit position.
  • You will ensure conformance to standards established by the Comptroller General of the United States as implemented by the Auditor General of the Navy.
  • You will assist the Project Manager in ensuring that data reflected in internal management information systems is current and accurate.
