Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).

GS-11: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Conducting complex audit assignments that require an integrated analysis of regulations and data.
Writing sections of audit reports and ensuring technical sufficiency and adherence to audit standards.
Briefing internal leadership on audit findings and communicating effectively with auditees (from technical staff to high-level officials), conveying technical information in a way that is easy to understand.
OR Have successfully completed a PhD or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., (if related).

OR A combination of specialized experience and graduate education that equates to one year of experience.
GS-12: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Independently conducting segments of audits, including the performance of audit risk assessments, creating audit steps, and the application of advanced auditing methods and techniques.
Independently develop findings and draft reports or segments of reports that detail audit findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
Effective oral communication of audit findings in a clear and understandable manner to senior officials.
This involves not just stating the facts but also explaining their significance and potential impact on the organization.
