As an Attorney-Advisor (General) at the GS-0905-11, you will be part of the Office of Commissioner Kotagal, U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
If selected, you will be responsible for performing a variety of confidential assignments and duties; advising on policy and legal matters; and assisting the Commissioner in effectively discharging the legal activities of the office.
The selectee will be required to have a duty station at Headquarters or one of the 53 EEOC Field Offices. For the GS-11: You must have earned a professional law degree (J.D.
or LL.B.) from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association and be an active member of the BAR.
Professional legal education above the first professional law degree may be substituted for experience required as follows:(a) The second professional law degree (LL.M) may be substituted for one year of experience (b) The third law degree (J.S.D) may be substituted for one year of experience beyond the LL.M.
