Summary

This job involves helping manage the readiness and placement of Navy sailors who are on limited duty or going through disability evaluations, ensuring they are properly assigned to roles within the organization.

Full Job Description

You will serve as the Assistant Regional Deployability Coordinator in the Force Manpower and Personnel (N1) of COMNAVSURFPAC.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Advising on placement or assignment of military personnel's deployability and limited duty programs by establishing policies and procedures to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency for a military manning program.

  • You will serve as the Assistant Regional Deployability Coordinator (ARDC) (Limited Duty (LIMDU) and Disability Evaluation System (DES) Coordinator).
  • You will be responsible for personnel planning, and management of LIMDU/DES personnel at CNSP and subordinate commands to ensure Sailors are fully integrated into assigned organizations.
  • You will provide direction and advice on problems/issues associated with the placement and assignment of personnel throughout the organization.
  • You will plan and conduct analysis, to include the development of organization-wide metrics to review and provide assessment of manning/personnel distribution for agency as well as subordinate organizations who require manning/personnel support.
  • You will work closely with external organizations to properly distribute personnel by ensuring that the person meets the appropriate requirements for the position.
