Job Description

Summary

This job involves supporting the Marine Forces Reserve by analyzing information, developing procedures to track reports from units, reviewing processes for better efficiency, and communicating with various groups inside and outside the Marine Corps.

Full Job Description

You will serve as an Assistant Readiness Officer in the Marine Forces Reserve of MARFORRES NOLA.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience developing and recommending policy; organizing and carrying out specific programs, evaluating and recommending changes in methods of operations.

  • You will review internal processes and procedures, making recommendations for improvements to promote efficiency and cost savings.
  • You will maintain liaison and communication with persons and groups from both within and outside the United States Marine Corps.
